Team

Camila joined Península (the company that originated Canvas) in 2012. She began her career as an economist at Rosenberg & Associados (1995-1997), followed by positions at Banco Santander Brasil (1997-2010) and Brevan Howard (2010-2012). Camila holds a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, Administration, and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (1990) and a master’s degree in Economics from FGV (1994).

Eduardo joined Advis (the company that originated Canvas) in 2010. He was Head of Banco Fator’s Treasury (2002-2005) and Head of US Rates at Itaú BBA (2005-2008). Eduardo holds a degree in Economics from FEA-USP.

Guilherme joined Advis (the company that originated Canvas) in 2013. He began his career at Banco Itaú, followed by positions at HSCB Brasil and Banco Unibanco, where he was Head of Treasury (2001-2004), before becoming a partner and Head of FX at the proprietary desk of Itaú BBA (2005-2013). Guilherme holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from POLI-USP (1994) and an MBA from Insper (2004).

Francisco joined Advis (the company that originated Canvas) in 2015. Having started his career at Schroders PLC (2006-2007) and Link Investimentos (2008), Francisco had his first tenure at Advis from 2009 to 2013, where he held the positions of partner and portfolio manager. He also served as a portfolio manager at Point Break Capital (2014). Francisco holds a degree in Administration from FEA-USP (2010) and FH Joanneum University, Austria, and is a CFA charterholder.

Pedro joined Canvas in 2018. He began his career as a portfolio manager at Advis Investimentos (2010-2014), where he later became a partner, and worked at Carta LLC (2017-2018). Pedro holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV – EAESP (2010) and an MBA from the University of British Columbia (2016). Additionally, he holds Anbima’s CFG, CGA, and CGE certifications.

Leandro joined Canvas in 2020. He began his career as an operations and risk analyst at Advis (2010-2016) and was Director of risk, compliance, AML, and operations at GateInvest (2017-2019). Leandro holds a degree in Mathematics from UNESP (2005) and a master’s degree in Statistics from UFSCAR (2009).

Vitor began his career at Canvas in 2018. He holds a degree in Naval Engineering from POLI-USP (2019) and holds Anbima’s CFG, CGA, and CGE certifications.

Lucas joined Canvas in 2021. He began his career at Concepta Asset (2019) and had a stint at Intuit (2020). Lucas holds a degree in Computer Science from IME-USP (2021) and holds Anbima’s CFG and CGA certifications.

Thiago joined Canvas in 2023. He began his career at Brainvest (2016) in the allocation team and worked in the equity research division at BRAM (2017) before becoming a trader in his first tenure at Canvas (2018-2021). He then served as a portfolio manager at Banco ABC (2021-2022), Porto Asset (2022), and Multiplica Capital (2023). Thiago holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Insper (2018).
